At Little Ocean Heroes, we are on a mission to create sustainable swimwear for kids and adults that is both stylish and eco-friendly. We believe that it is our responsibility to minimize our environmental impact, and we are committed to responsible procurement practices. We want to share our journey with you and showcase some of our sustainable production practices.
Our Visit to the Factory
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we recently visited our factory in Bangkok, which produces for well-known high-end brands. Our goal was to ensure that our production processes align with our sustainability goals. During our visit, we performed a visual and dimension inspection to ensure that the production met our high standards.
Sustainable Production Practices
We believe that sustainable production practices are essential to creating eco-friendly swimwear. At Little Ocean Heroes, we are dedicated to creating sustainable swimwear with style, using eco-friendly and high-quality materials. Here are some of our sustainable production practices:
Use of Recycled Polyester
We use recycled polyester from Repreve, a leading sustainable textile company, in our swimwear. By using recycled polyester, we help reduce plastic waste and its impact on the environment.
Reuse of Textile Extras
We make use of textile extras generated during the cutting process, which we reuse for our bag handles, packaging, and Seed of Change concept. Seed of Change is a social initiative in Phuket that focuses on empowering underprivileged individuals by teaching them sewing and crafting skills using up-cycled, donated, and repurposed materials. The items produced by these individuals are then sold, with all profits going toward offering more people the opportunity to train and learn a life skill.
Reduction of Plastic Packaging
We are committed to reducing plastic packaging in our product, opting for biodegradable packaging or packaging made from recycled materials and natural ink. We encourage our customers to recycle or reuse our packaging to minimize waste.
Sustainable Swimwear Production Videos
We are excited to share some of our sustainable swimwear production practices with you through videos.
In this video series, we showcase the meticulous attention to detail in the production of our swim trunks. We demonstrate how our signature back pocket flag is precisely aligned during manufacturing, and how the addition of mesh lining improves comfort and fit. Lastly, we emphasize the care taken during the ironing process to guarantee the high quality of our swimwear.
Our Commitment to Sustainability
We believe that our customers appreciate our commitment to minimizing our environmental impact, and we are proud of our responsible procurement practices. Our sustainable swimwear production practices ensure that our swimwear is of the highest quality while minimizing our environmental impact.
At Little Ocean Heroes, we are inspired by the idea of creating sustainable swimwear that is both stylish and eco-friendly. We believe that by taking responsibility for our environmental impact, we can make a difference in the world. We hope that our journey inspires others to make a positive change and embrace sustainable practices in their own lives.
